We at Argo are excited to announce that we will be hosting a digital workshop on Feminist Foreign Policy on Monday 27th April, 19:30 CET!
Part of the OpenTTN’s Europe-wide push for crowdsourced policy proposals, Argo’s digital workshop will feature experts in the field discussing the key areas of the topic, followed by an interactive ideation session in small groups. The resulting policy proposals will then be added to the online Policy Kitchen platform and will form the basis of a joint OpenTTN publication – in which you retain ownership of your idea and will be credited in the final publication.
2020 is an extraordinary year for international commitments on gender equality: it marks the 25th anniversary of the Beijing Platform for Action, the 20th anniversary of the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security and the 5th anniversary of Sustainable Development Goal Nr. 5 (Gender Equality). But what should the next 10 years look like for the development of the feminist foreign policy agenda?
This is your chance to have your ideas heard, so register here, tell your friends, and we’ll see you (virtually) on the night! Please note that contributions from experts will be in French, but the group sessions will be divided into English and French.
And while you’re at it, check out the Policy Kitchen website for the full challenge and many other opportunities to get engaged across the Open Think Tank Network.
A très bientôt!
